Whether your restaurant is big or small or somewhere in between, chances are that the griddle is an indispensable item in your toolkit.

There is no disputing that a reliable, high-quality griddle is one of the most essential pieces of equipment in a busy professional kitchen. Whether it’s a steakhouse, luxury fine dining, a greasy spoon, or even the local high school cafeteria, the griddle is an absolutely indispensable item in the professional chef’s toolkit.

For more than a century, griddles have served as the professional kitchen workhorse for preparing a wide variety of dishes across nearly every menu. That includes dishes ranging from your famously fluffy pancakes, your out-of-this-world omelets, or those savory steaks that your customers are all raving about.

Knowing how important the griddle is in professional kitchens when we set out to design our line we first consulted with professional chefs to assure that we gave them everything they needed to get their job done right.

The Dipo Difference

Designed with durability and flexibility in mind, Dipo Induction Griddles provide multiple cooking surfaces or evenly-dispersed heat across the entire cooktop for continuous use day and night in the busiest restaurant kitchens.

There is no disputing that a reliable, high-quality griddle is one of the most essential pieces of equipment in a busy professional kitchen.

These stylishly designed, highly efficient, easy-to-clean workhorses come with flawless clad cooking surfaces that take a mere nine minutes to preheat.

That’s blazing fast compared to conventional griddles that take as long as 15 minutes or more to reach optimal cooking heat. Who has time for that?

What Your Griddle Surface Should Look Like

Another great thing about cooking with induction griddles is that the precise temperature controls give you more options when adjusting the heat. That means the worry of burning that perfect dish is drastically reduced and your griddle keeps looking like the day you bought it.

Control Freaks

And please, do forgive us, but we are control freaks when it comes to designing our griddles. We believe in creating kitchen appliances that give you complete control over whatever dish you’re preparing for your customers.

That’s why all of our induction griddles feature real-time temperature control with a wide range of heat settings that adjust and compensate for even the most minor temperature changes across the surface of the griddle to make sure every dish you cook is cooked just right.

And as we mentioned earlier, Dipo’s induction technology provides blazing-fast heat up and recovery time that allows you the ability to instantly sear a steak or quickly cool things down for those delicate dishes that need a precision touch to assure they are cooked to perfection.

Our larger induction griddles offer the added advantage of two independently controlled cooking surfaces with an easy-to-use rotary dial thermostat and LED readout that allows you to quickly adjust both surface temperatures so you can sauté those mushrooms to magnificence while searing those savory steaks to the sublime.

Another great feature is the easy-to-empty grease traps which quickly slide right out and right back in for quick disposal of excess grease and food waste.

A Green Machine

On top of all that, cooking with an induction griddle means you’re running a greener, more energy-efficient kitchen with less waste and lower energy bills each month.

According to a comprehensive study by California’s Electric Power Research Institute, up to 90% of the energy consumed when using induction is transferred directly to the food. That compares with about 74% for traditional electric systems and 40% for gas.

Even more significant are studies showing that induction is 90% more efficient with its overall power use, using 2.8 kW to deliver 2.52 kW. This is a substantial improvement from electric coils, which use 2.0 kW to deliver 1.1 kW (a 55% efficiency), and cooking with gas, which uses 3.5 kW to generate 1.75 kW (a 50% efficiency).

What Are You Waiting For?

If you haven’t made the switch to induction from traditional cooking methods like conventional electric or wasteful fossil fuels like natural gas, then why not make the switch to induction?

Even if you don’t choose Dipo, switching to induction in your kitchen, whether it’s a griddle, a cooktop, a warmer, or a deep fryer is the right move to make. Not only towards creating a safer, more energy-efficient kitchen but also towards creating a greener world for generations to come.
