Several major chains are having trouble acquiring enough ingredients as COVID continues to affect the global supply chain.

Joining a host of other restaurants, fast food chain Taco Bell issued an apology on its website today, saying that because of “national ingredient shortages and delivery delays” that its restaurants might be out of some options.

“Apologies for the inconvenience and we hope to feed fans’ current Taco Bell cravings again soon,” Taco Bell said in a statement to CNN Business. The brand didn’t specify which menu items or cities were affected.

Taco Bell is just the latest large restaurant chain affected by disruptions in the global supply chain that has been hiding businesses across industries. Restaurants, in particular, have been hit hard in recent months by problems with buying ingredients, they have also had to suffer through a labor shortage.

Popular food chain Chick-fil-A recently announced it would limit the number of sauces it gives out to diners due to limited stock. Starbucks also recently apologized to customers for running out of some items, including oat milk. In similar straits, KFC has also struggled to keep up with orders of its popular new chicken sandwich.
